PAIN

Pain, especially chronic pain, is a topic of great controversy in how it is
evaluated and how it is treated. Should we use addictive medications,
should we believe that people are in pain and how do we know that someone isn't
just "medication-seeking?" There are no easy answers and one of the most
important things anyone who is in pain can do is to educate yourself about all
the treatments and the current research. Here's a page with a
number of the
pain scales on it.
